Subject: [CR] Converting a Phil Wood 126mm rear to 120mm

Dear Friends,

I am looking to convert a 126mm Phil Wood freewheel rear hub to a 120mm hub. Those fine people at Phil Wood\u2019s Technical support have informed me that I can do so by replacing the 25mm non-drive side axle cap with an axle cap of 18.5mm. (Obviously, the wheel will need to be re-dished, as well.)

Now, does anyone have a spare 18.5mm Phil Wood axle cap?

Or a truly dead 120mm rear hub from which such might be salvaged? Cosmetic appearance is of very minor importance to me for this item. Functional will do just fine.

If anyone can help me with this piece, I would be most grateful. Please contact off list.

Thank you ever so much.

Happy New Year to you all.
