Sorry for WD-40 fans, but I would like to say NEVER use WD-40 for cleaning of ANY machine.

The product was invented in 1950s to create "rubber" coating to keep moisture out for electronic circuit boards.

If you spray it on fine delicate mechanical gears such as watch/clock etc., you will 100% destroy them. You will only dissolving petroleum base lubricant for a short period of time, buy when it drys, everything locks up.
