It would be greatly appreciated if anyone out there can help me with a question regarding Universal brakes. I'm restoring a 1963 Frejus Professional, bringing it back to original spec. Bike had the model 61 calipers on it but the original bars and levers were not present. My question is, are there any specific mechanical differences between the model 61 levers and the model 68 levers? I know they're very similar and I'm not referring to hood design ,etc, but the construction details of the levers themselves, and their adjusters. I can find pictures of them both on the net, but no detail on the construction differences of the two models, if any. Any information will be of great help.
