I have a California-built 1981 Masi Gran Criterium almost identical to the "Breaking Away" bike, judging from the movie posters. My bike has cable housings that match the frame colour rather than the yellow ones in the film. The frame colour is very unusual; I had always remembered the "Breaking Away" Masi as being red but it is actually a nice shade of orange. Bar tape and toe straps are yellow. I have a matching Silca pump and the original water bottle (which I don't think anyone will want to drink out of!):

I have a blow-up of one of the film posters, and it shows the bike clearly--except that the chainring is on the wrong side!
