I saw no indication in the article(s) that she no longer has the bike ... thus, the correct subject should be "Gabrielle Giffords OWNS a KOF frameset". Don't mean to be overly detail oriented, but the Congresswoman is still alive and on the mend. She OWNS a Bohn bike.

Interesting article from "Tucson Velo" website, it appears that Dave Bohm built a bike for Gabrielle Giffords, who was by all appearances, an avid cyclist.
