Jim,

I was never a fan of Holdsworths. When I was still living in the UK, they were looked on in the same light as Raleighs etc (factory bikes). I lost track of bicycles when I emigrated to Canada in'73. Now I am back to the old addiction! That bike in your photograph is one handsome machine. And, oh to see a bike shop window like that again....

Above link is a Holdsworth bike I shot in 1972 or thereabouts. I don't know anything about it, just thought it looked good.

I also added a shot of a new Raleigh Pro from the same period, taken in the front window of Cycle Craft in Portland Or. Next to it is a Raleigh track bike, and 2 Fench made Stella bikes. See that photo here:
