I had the same reaction as Lou, and thought of the few times I've heard similar info in 'bicycle stores' in the past couple of years. Are there no 'Bike Shops' left? Anyway, in my mind, I hope this is someone who purchased a cool bike many years ago and pretty much gave the sport, and the bike, little thought afterward. Perhaps because this is the method used to size him/her for this bike!
