Those look like a response by Lyotard to the short-lived fad of integrated toe clip pedals. Late 1980s ~early 90s?

Good day to all.

I picked up a "vintage" truing stand yesterday.

Made in japan is cast into the base and there is another mark but cant make it out. Im wondering who made the stand and approx what year it was made. It is missing the small gauge on the front to measure "round" but one will be easy to make.

Also, a pair of Lyotard pedals. i cannot find a photo like them. (checked velobase ect.) What specific use are these pedals?
