Yes new. I bought some from them a couple years ago. The price at the time was $100/pr. I thought they were vintage 70s maybe but then I got a Christmas card from them this year with link to their web site. A great deal even at $135/pr.

The other current mfg of wood rims is of course the more well known Cerchio in Legno Ghisallo. They are twice the price so those CBITA are a great deal. They also make them in any drilling, and in several shapes and in four colors. They build up very nice and ride wonderfully. They are made from Slovenian beechwood, whereas the CBITA are hickory. Not sure if it makes a difference. I like the colours of the Ghisallo better though.
