Jimmy,

That is true to an extent. Having been inside both of those bikes; I would have to say there is a bit of an edge over Tesch that Confente frames have, insofar as the care of construction goes. Dave was into production (inspired by Trek) and Mario wasn't in a hurry when he was building stuff with his name on it. Masi was a hurry to a degree; but not so with Confente frames. Mario only managed 85 frames in about 2 years in L.A. Way more than I make, but still a pretty small number. Dave would have preferred to make that many in a month or two.

Just the facts as I have seen them.

Thanks to everyone that responded about my interest in Tesch history. Like Confente it sounds like we lost a KOF way before his prime.
