Putting 28mm tires on an Italian racing bike from the 70s is just wrong. Who cares how it rides...it's important to look good. To look Italian.
In the meantime, I'm buying those 19mm tires on ebay for cheap and they ride just fine. And, isn't it priceless when someone says,"Wow, those tires are so skinny."?
