I had one of those Raleighs (forget the exact model) and in the late 90's I
asked Sheldon Brown what the tubing was. He seemed pretty convinced,
i.e., didn't 'bat an eye' when he said Tange.
I'll say this, the bike had one of the 'deadest' ride qualities I've ever experienced!!
