Because we were always used to ordering 'custom' frames, the paint and complexity of panels, lining etc would be what you could afford. Club colours were popular on a seat tube. One of my tricycles has a 'barber pole' stripe up the seat tube - must have taken an age to fiddle about masking it up. Nice looking, Dean, all the old GB stuff looks just right. Or, as a carbonfiber/Lycra 'modern' cyclist said when I took my son to a club timetrial using the Raleigh Mk IV - 'which museum did you steal THAT from ?' John Purser Sudbury, UK

Hi Dean. That's a very lovely bike! The pane ls on the seat tube remind me of the ones on the white 1968 Raleigh Professional. I'm curious if other British bikes had similar treatments. Anyone know? Billy Ketchum; Chicago, IL; USA.

Hello listers,

Here's a build I've been working on for the past few years.
