Howdy Folks,

It's just one short week until NAHBS invades Austin, Texas! This past year has flown by for us here at NAHBS HQ in Speedway, Indiana, and we are anxiously awaiting next Friday at 10 AM when the doors will open for the public to see the largest handmade bicycle show on the planet.

We have over 170 exhibitors in 220+ booth spaces, eclipsing our previous record of 150 set in Portland. But it doesn't stop there! At this time, we have over 120 media credentials awaiting reporters from countries as far away as Japan, South Korea, the U.K., and even Germany! You can expect a huge amount of coverage online and in print from our Media Partners, and Cyclingnews dot com will be doing another great bit of photo coverage from James Huang, the tech editor. MTBR and Road Bike Review will be doing video interviews for their site, so keep watch for those. One new media credential that has been applied for is from Popular Mechanics!

It appears that journalists now outnumber framebuilders at NAHBS! Who'd a thunk?

Also, Shimano is back in 2011 as a Partner Sponsor, giving them a 6 for 7 run in NAHBS history (only missing Houston) and New Belgium Brewing, producer of some really outstanding beers, has signed on to supply their yummy, sudsy stuff at the Mellow Johnny's Movie Night on Thursday night--featuring the Premier of the Rapha Continental Film--and the NAHBS Exhibitor and VIP Party Friday night, also at Mellow Johnny's!

All in all, this 2011 edition of NAHBS is looking extraordinary! If you aren't attending, we'll miss you, but if you are, we know you'll have the time of your life and we look forward to seeing you next week!

Thanks for your time!
