Subject: [CR] Resurecting My 1981 Kilauea

Here is a link to a page that shows my self-built 1981 Kilauea racing frame. It has been hanging in the rafters for years until I decided to bring it down, clean it up and rebuild it. the lugs are polished steel witha clear coat. We didn't have SS lugs back then, so the standard choices were to chrome or paint the lugs. I discussed the possibility of polishing and clear coating the lugs with the painter, and he wanted to give it a try. They looked great for years, but the rust is starting to worm its way under the clearcoat.

Enjoy.
