If one reads the description, nowhere does the seller claim it is one thing or another. He implies that it might bea Singer, or Hearse. Although it appears to be a nicely made frame with nice equipment on it, the seller is clearly trying to bask in the glory of those names. No-one is going to part with that kind of money on a maybe.

It might be a very well made frame etc, etc but the seller is making a claim that can't be proven I guess unless he can find a serial number or something else that can help find out what this bike actually is. Without that it is preposterous to claim the frame might be anything more than a frame similar in style to a Herse or Singer. My two cents.

On reflection, I suppose it's not entirely implausible to call it a high-end french bike..that crown is quite nice, for instance.
I would appreciate hearing from experts why this frame may or may not be a high-end french bike. It looks like a typical french interpretation of an italian racing frame..but who made it?
