Go to groups.google.com. I use gmail,so I selected groups from the top of the screen, which I'm familiar with because I use the gmail web interface to check some related cycling groups. eg. rec.tech, bicyclelifestyle, and rando.
Search for classic rendezvous, let it be found, and subscribe, noting because you can't miss it that your full name only is to be used where the google group form calls for a nickname.
