Subject: [CR] Source for 5/16" ball bearings, grade 25 or better?

Happy New Year One and All ---

I've got a Chater-Lea eccentric bottom bracket I need to rebuild with the required 5/16" ball bearings. As I want to put good bearings in there for smooth running and long life, I'm looking for grade 25 or lower (which really means better). Only problem----all I can find is grade 200 or above in that size. Loose Screws, Bikeman, etc. sell grade 25 in all the "popular" sizes, but not in the oddball 5/16".

Does anyone know of a source for 5/16" steel ball bearings in a high-precision grade? I would prefer a consumer-oriented seller where I can buy online with a credit card, as opposed to an industrial source where I have to deal with a salesman or establish an account.

Thanks in advance for the help, and I've hoisted a Pimm's No. 1 Cup and tonic as a salute to your good health and happiness during the coming year. (Sorry, no more apropos Pimm's No. 3 Cup Winter version available in my neighborhood).

Cheers and Cheerio,
