Greetings.
I just purchased a 30-something-year old Paletti Super Prestige frameset.
The color is a gorgeous pearlescent white and the decals feel as if they're
sitting on the top layer of paint. In order to protect both, I'm
considering having a layer or two of clear coat applied before I start
rebuilding.
Any thoughts on the various pros and cons to clear coating a vintage bike
would be appreciated.
