The original post was regarding a red anodized road gruppo. If I remember correctly, the question about "collectability/value" (I don't remember the question anymore) was concerning these components on ebay. So maybe I should have been a little more specific. My opinion is: That any Campy components the have been reanodized, especially if the reanodizing is of a color that never came stock from Campy, are less collectable than stock/unmodified components of the same condition. The BMX components were the only color anodized components offered directly from Campagnolo. Therefore, the colored BMX components would not be less collectable. Again this is strictly my personal opinion, but I think it is also one that is GENERALLY shared. It is very possible that a complete color anodized Campy gruppo was available as an optional purchase. This option may have been offered by a frame builder or a distributor, but highly unlikely that is came from Campagnolo that way.

NOTE: When Campy first started manufacturing Super Record, some of the SR parts did come with black anodizing from the factory. Soon after, Campy changed their mind and no longer black anodized these parts: Chainrings, headsets, seatpost supports.
