It looks like these caps on the pedal holes are threaded like the bolt hole covers. Are the threads the same as the pedal threads? The reason I'm asking is that I have a pair of Campy cranks with the raised area around the pedal hole, but the join between the arn and the spider is very different from the one on ebay. On my crank the web starts at the point where the arm crosses the spider, there is no under cutting. Was the under cutting on the ebay cranks a modification? I'm curious as to how to tell the early crank from a later version like I may have.
