If anyone, in addition to Chris, might be seeking any information from next month`s Tokyo bike show extravaganza, feel free to conatct me (....you say get real?) It`s a wild event, with the immortal BMX crew attempting to defy gravity up near the steel rafters, while large two wheel transport conglomerates try to lure you into their surreal displays with offers of gifts and scantily clad women. (a minor distraction for CR members) Everyone and everything is in high gear trying to grab a piece of the action, all accompanied by blasting at distortion levels what sounds like Chinese hiphop. I even saw there a seemingly well fed and very popular Ernesto Colnago working on a short stogey (no doubt a 'Toscano Originale'), while a long line of eager fans awaited his autograph. This year, hopefully I won`t be spending the entire time in the Mavic booth trying to convince them to bring back reflex clinchers, so I am willing to be the "errand boy". Occasionally, in the distant corners far from the crowd, you can find someone in a low budget booth hanging in there and displaying some good work.

Absolutely no overnight express on sushi back to the US! 5 day air at your own risk.
