OOPS! The original post was not mine. I think it was Chuck S. or perhaps Mike K., lamenting "no good clinchers". I was just asking about the Roll-Y-Poly and/or TUFO tubular clinchers - wondering if they fit the bill? Richard (tubular's only), Rose Toledo, Ohio P.S. These Veloflex Crieriums, 22mm ride very nice at around 100-110 psi. Or maybe it's the bike.

I liked Rich's post.
It reminded me of when I switched to bigger meats.
I started out with skinny tires, but as I added millemeters I found that ride quality skyrocketed. I believe that 28s and even 32s offer better:
rolling resistance longevity damage resistance (tires and wheels)
And they float over train tracks and potholes.
If we could confine our riding to velodromes, then 22s or 25s would be fine. In the real world, I'll take the fatties please.
