One of my buddies had a nice 1959 Paramount track bike when we were both actively racing. It hand chrome Nervex head lugs and was very nicely finished. About 8 years ago he gave it to me to sell in my shop. That winter I was fooling around with roller racing. The Paramount fit me so I tried it on rollers. It was amazingly stable. I could take may hands off the bars at almost any speed. I rode the state roller championships on it and won a couple of medals. I never rode the thing on the track so I can't testify to it's real world behavior.
Anybody going to the Copake (N.Y.) swap meet this Friday (I think)? We should have name badges or rendezvous for lunch or do a ride or something don't you think?
