Olaf,

Look for some of these details which can be found on early '70s Colnagos:

Long dropouts Pantographed "club" in the seat lug A hole in each point of the fork crown No braze-ons for top tube brake cable guide

Hi i´ve just bought an old Colnago but as a Gios man I´m not familiar with older Colnagos. The bike looks exactly like the 1978 Mexico in the CR gallery, colour and all but it says Colnago super on the chainstays and its got large flange hubs that have only Campagnolo stamped in them. The nuovo Rec RD has 71init and the bike definitely looks older than78. Can anyone help me? If you need more details please let me know! Thanx Olaf
