I've out-bid Kauzo too; but it only happens when he's in a good mood and feels generous enough to let you win :-)
I suspect, that sometimes he doesn't bid very aggressively. He must have a hard time being enthusiastic about buying that third set of Stronglight '49s, a couple of days after winning the other two :-)
