Actually, I have two Dave Kirk frames built up, and a third in transit to me. All three frames are shown at the Kirk site. I have a 'normal' lugged Kirk, a superb filet brazed extreme compact (15deg slope) and a Kirk-reworked, Pacenti lugged "fancy" Kirk shown at Gallery 12 at the site (http://www.kirkframeworks.com/Photo%20Gallery%203.htm) All bikes are Reynolds 725, and ride like a dream, at least first two which are now built, and I would anticipate nothing less from the third frameset.

Dave's work is first class, as is the paint from CycleFantasy in California who does his painting. Dave is an absolute pleasure to work with, his fit and finish are beyond reproach, and he is a damn nice guy to speak to as well.

I might also add that all of the current framebuilders and those involved in restoration and the other facets of vintage lightweights are generally a complete pleasure to deal with. In addition to Dave, who I have spoken to at length, Richard Sachs, Joe Bell, Jim and Susan Cunningham, Grant Peterson, etc. have been patient with my questions and a joy to work with. Thanks to all of them and best wishes to all for the upcoming holiday season. Dave Novoselsky, Chicago and Pleasant Prairie
