Scott,

Dave Porter at the Winooski Bicycle Shop may have a classic road bike or two kicking around. Call first, as you will never find the store, even if you walk past it. There is also the West Hill Shop in Putney, and a small shop in Rochester on the main drag. But the guy who is the hands-down expert on old bikes is Glenn Eames at the Old Spokes Home, 322 1/2 N. Winooski Ave in Burlington. Glenn's interests tend to run a bit earlier than most of the discussions on this list, but he has some cool road stuff as well. Rutland is not terribly far from Albany, NY. Larry Ruff has some real cool bikes and parts at C-K Schwinn (formerly Klarsfeld's), at 1370 Central Ave. Ask them to show you the basement.

Did you bring a bike with you? Any interest in a ride this weekend?
