My AX gruppo came on a wrecked Univega. The moded was "Super Strada" or "Strada", if memory serves. It was a lugged frame.

Since I recently bought a Shimano "Support Bike", I have taken in interest in Shimano groups. One that really intrigues me is the AX group. I am thinking of building a bike with this group. Does anyone have any suggestions about frameset would be considered appropriate for this group, since it was very modern for its time.
