Do you have any factual basis for your statement?

What industry players are you referring to?

I think you are giving the "industry" way more credit for acting cohesively than it deserves, particularly in regard to offshore producers. Domestic rade organizations like the BIA have had a hard enough time working on the issue of increasing bike usage let alone addressing the type of information provided to consumers by manufacturers.
