I had a nice ride today with PHIL BROWN,taking the BIANCHI
TEAM out for its first ride
since ED LITTON refinished it(victim of a poor repaint and very non
original decalling)everything worked perfectly ,the old RECORD
drailleurs shifting so effortlessly that I kept looking down to confirm
the shifts. After PHIL peeled off at his place I continued south towards
home ,the old bike litterally flying up hills (those of you have ridden
with me should see the humor in this).I beleive I did arrive back in
MILL VALLEY in a very quick time.
The bike is very close to stock but I have substituted a
wider and certainly later 3TTT TdF bar that is more comfortable for
me(as well as a 14-28 freewheel)
Had one fellow on a T**K compliment the bike and had one
other ask if it was a VIGORELLI(not sure if that was a complement for
the bike or EDs SUPER paint work)
THANKS for all who contributed information and thanks again
to ED who probably spent more time with the paintwork and decals than I
paid for.
