I just want to say that I had one of these, back around 1970. Perhaps my standards or tastes have changed, but we were poor starving grad students, and I bought mine a year old for $140. I absolutely loved that color. Never had that attachment to another finish (no wisecracks). I even got some Kahlua stickers and lacquered them into place on the top tube. Hope that removing those didn't cause the paint damage in funny isolated spots...
