Gee- Campagnolo didn't talk about limited life when the SOLD the parts. In fact they emphasized the longevity versus the "throwaway" Japanese parts.

And if they were ever concerned about safety, how about fixing the web stress riser and pedal eye problems after making the Record and Nuevo record cranks for more than TWENTY years and who knows how many breakages.
