snipped: http://ebay.com/<blah RK:MEWA:IT it seems like a nice paramount for fairly cheap (unless the reserve was the same as the buy it now; i've seen that. i'll never understand the tortuous thurn und taxis mysteries of ebay dealing). i like paramounts; if i ever scrape some money together i'd like to get one. so i was wondering why this one didn't sell. yr obdt svt Stephen Fredette Hull, Massachusetts>

I was actually the high bidder on this one when it closed. I entered a high bid of $211, and didn't hit the reserve, so I backed off. I think a lot of potential bidders got scared off, because the buy it now price was so high. It will probably be re-listed with a lower reserve and buy-it-now.

Nice frame/fork, but not worth $550+, IMHO

On a similar note, I am about to list a '72 P-13 in Kool Lemon (54cm) frame and fork, only - on Ebay. Some chips and rust where the components were mounted, and two poorly done touch-ups, but overall a beautiful frame - the decals are all there, and in good condition. I also have 1/2 pint of 1975 vintage Schwinn touchup paint - the original Kool Lemon yellow - that goes with it. If you're interested, contact me off-list, and make me a fair offer (less than $550 is fine ;-)). I probably won't get around to listing it until Sunday night.
