I've seen those with Ambrosios and Fiammes, and I'm sure other rims showed up on the bikes.. and if it started out as a frame only (and many did, I'm sure) the question is irrelevant.
I was more interested in the early 70s Masi GCs. The original bikes I've seen (admittedly, a limited number, probably a dozen or so) all had the truncated-pyramid-stickered Martanos. And my understanding is the Martanos were standard on the bikes assembled in Carlsbad, although others can confirm that better than I can.
The question was, and remains, *which* Martanos?? And in what year?
