True. I am often surprised at the barely concealed contempt among some when they say "oh, well the Raleigh International was OK but it had Weinmann brakes". Really? I remember when Weinmann 999s were top o' the heap and for good reason. Did Weinmann not co-sponsor the very successful Falcon pro team in the 1960s and later Carlton? Weinmann brakes and rims were (and are) excellent and were on everything it seemed. Maybe it's because of this, they are sneered at now. And I may be a phillistine, but I swear the Weinmann side pulls on my Raleigh Comp GS worked just as well as the Campagnolo side pulls.

So if anyone out there has a '65 ish Falcon San Remo 59-60cm with those yucky Weinmann 999s and Weinmann rims they want to get rid of before anyone finds out.....
