With a business like Cycles Alex Singer, the "online presence" is not what one would expect form a newer company. The shop remains unchanged, Ernest (note the second "e") remains at the helm, but it is possible that for reasons of inheritence taxes, etc., somebody else is the official owner. I can assure you that Ernest never even has looked at a computer!

In any case, the shop remains basically unchanged from the early days. In our book "The Golden Age of Handbuilt Bicycles," there are two photos of the workshop, one taken in 1947 or so, the other one in 2004. You'd be hard-pressed to spot the difference, except Ernest Csuka is 57 years older... (Even some of the same bikes hang in the back room!)

Have a fun trip. Remember they are closed Sun, Mon, and Tues morning, and they take a long lunch break.
