Hi,

I was at Bernie's shop last week to have a repair done on my 1974 Paramount. While I was there, he showed me a lugged frame he was working on. It was lovely.

He said he's getting more requests for lugged frames these days (good, I thought). I get the impression he prefers to build tigged frames, but he'll build what a customer wants and he does very nice work.

He's a terrific guy, by the way.

Oh, and the lugs he was using: Richard Sach's Newvex, which look *spectacular*
