I have old Brooks swallows,"new" ones with the bottom plate, and Ideale ones (also a stray Lycett). The Ideale to me is the most comfortable saddle to ride of any in my stable. They found the exact right mix of width, leather thickness and length for my tired bones. I suspect that smaller riders are more comfortable on these but for a combination of design and all day comfort they are numero uno ( or numbre un). Alan Bernstein /gorgeous riding day in Ct
