Following on from all the comments recently ,I for one applaud Dale for standing firm on the ruling 1983 cut off date. I am also surprised at the number of subscribers who wish to remonstrate on this decision. Perhaps those members should show a little more tollerance and share his veiws and support the listing in a more positive manner which we can all enjoy. Maybe to appreciate this is a free medium hosted by a group of people who give us the freedom to discuss our subjects at no cost to ourselves.We are indeed fortunate to be able to communicate in such a way.The average subscriber has between 40 to 60 years or more of history at hand by either by interest , inheriting or owning their choice of marque all these years later .So lets be honest there appears to be plenty of opportunities over this period of time for discussion without any criticism off the current cut off date.
I have been contributing on and off for a few years now and have made many friends world wide especially in Canada and the USA with California and Arizona being top of the agenda! Given this falcility the listing has given me the chance to assist others off list which often leads to subjects of a non topic nature thus avoiding breaking any rules.In spite of what some may say, I consider the genuine people on list of which there are many , certainly outweigh those who are not in that catagory!
