As I remember George was from San Diego. And may I modestly add Brown & White Cycles to the list? Doug White and I built in Fairfax and later Doug moved to Pt. Reyes Station. And I don't recall if the Marin mountain bike builderswere included but they're within timeline and include Steve Potts, Otis Guy, Joe Breeze,Craig Mitchell and others.
