Up through 1975, the PX 10 E came with Mafac Racer's (or Dural Forge on early bikes).

In 1974 the PX 10 LE was introduced as the new top of the line offering (a slightly higher spec version of the venerable PX 10 E) and came equipped with Mafac Competition's; same for 1975.

Don't know for sure about 1976 and Chuck Brooks has clarified 1977 for us.

Anyone have 1976 data or specific experience/recollection?

Eric Elman Somers, CT Owner of a 1970 PX 10 E that gets ridden very regularly and also the owner of a NOS 1975 PX 10 LE that is strictly a wall hanger...and will stay that way as long as I own her.
