I wonder, then, if the builder doesn't care about his old bikes, why should a second- or third-hand owner? If I had a '76 Limited that needed a repaint, I would have it painted in colors I like. But then I don't really care for high-dollar restorations. A bike is either original or it is not. Once it is not original, then no amount of money or beautiful Brian Bayliss paint can make it original again. Therefore, why not have Mr. Bayliss use his talents to please your own aesthetic sense? Instead of white and black livery on a PX-10, howze about cream and mocha? Or whatever ... My two cents and worth just that.
