Regarding Witcomb USA vs. Masi The 'stinkers' Tom refered to may have been the cheap production bikes built in a production facility in Wales that were imported by the owner of Witcomb (correct spelling!!!) USA. They were !!!! real 'stinkers and had nothing to do with the frames we built over here.... The name was the same and the association may have 'tainted' the reputation of the frames 'we',,, Richard, myself and our guys were building. I still see a lot of Witcomb USA frames that show up here for paint and decals and I must say I'm proud of what we built in that East Haddam shop 25 or so years ago.
