Subject: [CR]Seatposts for PX-10

CR List Members,

I'm looking for a 26.2mm seat post for my Peugeot. The size is apparently a bit rare, but I've found a few possibilities and wanted to see if anyone has any advice. I'm planning on using a Brooks saddle, probably a Champion model.

I've found an aluminum Simplex model, which is regarded as ugly by some, but at least it is French.

Also an Atax black resin model. Is this thing really plastic?

Then there is the Kalloy Uno, which is cheap, functional and polished, but not vintage.

There are also some modern 2-bolt models, available in my size, but they are zero-setback, and I suspect I need the setback in order to clamp the seat rails at the optimal location and still leave the saddle roughly centered over the seat tube.

I've seen some Campy posts on eBay as well, but they tend to be expensive and perhaps out of place on a frugal French bike.

Here are some pictures of the models in question:

Any advice, general or specific, would be welcome.
