=0D =0D Since I had to be in Saint Louis for business on Monday morning, I took an opportunity to take in the first swap meet of 2007. Part of the fu n of these is that you get to meet new faces of listmembers that cannot mak e Cirque or Chuckie Velo. So today, Lynn Travers met me at the swap.& nbsp; I arrived fairly early. Doors opened at 10:30 but since it was 18 degrees out, there was no way I was going to wait in the cold. So routine 6 was employed, a tactic that works at T-Town. It goes like t his, "Hey buddy, let me help you in with all that stuff and nice wrist band , got an extra?" =0D While there, Steven Johnson and Tom Caldwell had a table and were busy c learing out classic parts that clutter the parts bins to make way for new s tuff to clutter the parts bins. In between laps around the vendors, t he four of us shot the breeze and I spread as many rumors as I could about Dale, Hovey, Deeter, Sanders and Frietas. While I cannot say that the swap meet was overloaded with classic, time line parts, they did have some stuff. In the bike gallery, there was a Colnago Super that went for a mere $150. It was a tad bit too small for Lynn or we would hav e been busy the rest of the afternoon coming with reasons to explain to Lynn's wife on how the bike wound up in Lynn's car. The facil ity was good sized and I am told is the only swap meet in the area. I did manage to come away with a few items; non of which will concern any TS A inspector when I head back to NYC on Monday afternoon. =0D I also snapped a few shots with my cellphone camera and you can check th ose out at =0D
