Subject: [CR]Question about drilling Paramount track bikes for front

In late 1963 I ordered my first Paramount track bike for the '64 season. I believe I looked at all the options Schwinn offered for this bike. The only option I ordered were the chrome head lugs and fork crown. As best as my memory can serve me I don't recall the drilling of the fork crown as an option back then, they might have offered it at a later date. I do remember drilling nearly all my track bike forks. For one, I trained on them as a junior and felt a brake was necessary on the road and secondly you had to have a front brake to race them, off the track of course.
