Jack, Peugeot definitely made both, but I believe the version with 27"/700c wheels was switched over to ordinary MAFAC center-pull brakes sometime in the early 1960s. My suspicion is that this made it easier to switch between the slight diameter difference of 700c and 27". I also think (but don't guarantee) that any Peugeot dealer could order the model with 650B wheels. But that must have been really unusual outside of France, especially in North America. Perhaps a shop somewhere in Quebec might have done it? Now it could be that one of the _real_ Peugeonauts knows for certain? I'm just a poseur... Plus, everybody seems to know what color lug linings were painted on PX-10s during the autumn of 1965 :-) but very little about those touring bikes. And that's a shame, because the old Peugeot touring bikes were serious machines, even if less sexy than the bikes made by the boutique builders. Fred Rednor - Arlington, Virginia (USA)
