Here's a late bike boom era French bike, a classic from one of the St Etienne factories that cranked out so many 1970's bikes, this is a La France "Type Tour de France."

This is taking space in the garage and needs to move on to a caring new owner. If it stays here it'll get Craigslisted to some fixie butcher.

Pardon me for not cleaning it before taking pics.

58 cm center-to-center

Beautiful Belleri bars with Pivo stem. Stronglight crank. Pristine Lyotard alloy racing pedals with matched A LeDucq clips and straps (sadly the straps are about to separate but might be rehabilitated for display use). Mavic 27-1/4 rims, Normandy hubs. Ideale in junk/ poor state but beautiful clamp survives. Mafac Racer calipers and levers. Simplex changers have been replaced with Suntour.

Purported to be 531 but I have doubts. Rear Simplex dropouts (with hard to find spacers). Front dropouts are stamped steel.

I'll ship it via FedEx Ground for $380 or will discount the price for local pickup in the Denver metro area (Longmont).

Contact me for any specific questions.
