I have a used,man's frameset for sale: 1983 Raleigh "Gran Compe" that is 57 cm. (square) center to center,asking $225.00 or best offer.
I can deliver it to Cirque 2009.
According to Larry Osborne this model frameset was only sold for two years,as a frameset.I'm not the original owner.
The rear drop out spacing from the factory is unusal in that it was still using a 120 mm spacing in 1983 on this particular model road racing bicycle.
It is more of a "racing oriented" frame geometry with no eyelets and an "Italian" looking influence to my eye.
